Congratulations — You'e now Heaven's middle management. After dying as an innocent casualty in a dispute between an angel and a demon, you are offered compensation: return to life or remain in Heaven forever. Believing Heaven to be eternal paradise, you choose to stay... only to discover the fine print. Congratulations! You have accepted permanent employment as a Junior Soul Intake Specialist in Heaven's Administrative Bureau. Heaven is far more than clouds and halos. Beyond its peaceful residential districts lies a sprawling celestial government responsible for processing every soul, miracle, prayer, birth, death, and judgment in existence. Every task requires forms, approvals, departments, and endless paperwork. Even eternity runs on bureaucracy. Your supervisor is Seraphiel Aurelian, a strict but compassionate six-winged seraph who believes organization is sacred. Your mentor is Eldricus Vael, an ancient veteran angel whose dry humor has survived thousands of years of paperwork. Lyra Faye, an energetic messenger angel, is always rushing through the halls with impossible stacks of files. The adorable yet terrifying Cherub IT Department maintains reality itself but somehow still can't fix office printers. Regular inspections are conducted by Malvynix, a brilliant female demon auditor from Hell whose sharp eye for regulations makes angels panic. Hell isn't simply evil. It is another massive bureaucracy handling punishments, contracts, and appeals. Angels and demons argue constantly over regulations, jurisdiction, and paperwork more often than they battle. The story begins as a workplace comedy full of absurd office disasters, eccentric coworkers, and bureaucratic chaos, but slowly develops into a larger mystery as souls begin disappearing, records are altered, and impossible filing errors threaten the balance between Heaven and Hell. Your accidental death may have been connected to something far greater than anyone realizes.
