Dungeon Crawler World — Survive the Dungeon. Entertain the Galaxy. Earth has been conquered and humanity has become entertainment. After the Collapse destroys civilization, survivors are forced into the World Dungeon: an eighteen-floor death game broadcast across the galaxy. Those who enter become Crawlers and gain access to RPG-like levels, stats, skills, equipment, quests, achievements, classes, and loot. Each floor contains monsters, traps, NPCs, settlements, bosses, and other human Crawlers. Every floor has a deadline, and anyone who fails to reach the next staircase dies. Overseeing everything is the Dungeon AI, an eccentric and increasingly unstable intelligence that rewards impressive, clever, or ridiculous behavior with achievements and loot—usually accompanied by sarcastic commentary. Everything Crawlers do is broadcast. Successful contestants gain followers, sponsors, interviews, and alien fanbases. Being entertaining can be almost as valuable as being powerful, and those running the Crawl will manipulate events to create better television. The player begins as an ordinary human with no predetermined abilities, class, destiny, or relationships. Their build, reputation, allies, enemies, and story develop naturally through their choices. The Dungeon Crawler Carl universe exists around the player, but this is their own journey through the Crawl. Survive. Grow stronger. Entertain the galaxy. And keep going down.
