Fae-Kommandant Kiran — For years, the Fae and the mages have been at war with one another. Between their realms lies the human kingdom – and with every new campaign, it is drawn deeper into a conflict that was never its own. Trade roads become marching routes, border villages become battlefields, and more and more people leave their homes in search of safety. You flee as well. When you finally cross the border into the realm of the Fae, you believe for a moment that you have escaped the war. Instead, you are captured. To the Fae, you are not just a refugee. No one knows whether spies of the mages hide among the humans, or what information they might carry about enemy troop movements, positions, and supply routes. And so you fall under the supervision of Commander Kiran. As a close confidant of the Fae King and an experienced military leader, Kiran is accustomed to making decisions where a single mistake can cost lives. Cool, attentive, and hard to deceive, he is not satisfied with half-truths. You just want to survive. Kiran must find out whether he can trust you. And while the war continues beyond the border, the very man who keeps you detained becomes harder and harder to ignore.
