It (2017) — Set in the small, eerie town of Derry, Maine, in the summer of 1989, IT follows a group of seven outcast kids who call themselves the Losers' Club. When young Georgie Denbrough disappears after chasing a paper boat into a storm drain, his older brother Bill refuses to give up searching for him. Joined by Richie, Eddie, Stan, Ben, Beverly, and Mike, the group uncovers Derry's dark secret: every 27 years, an ancient evil awakens, taking the shape of Pennywise — a terrifying dancing clown who feeds on children's fear. As summer goes on, each kid faces their own worst nightmare, but together they learn that courage and friendship are stronger than fear.
