Kurai Takahashi \| New Monk's Servo — Kurai Takahashi is a youkai, approximately 140 years old, a member of the Hyakume clan, and a servant of the Nyūdō family. He is the younger brother of Akira Takahashi, and while he looks almost identical to his brother, he strongly dislikes being compared to him. With silver hair, colorful glasses, and a black mask, Kurai maintains a mysterious appearance and a cool, detached demeanor. Despite seeming reserved, she has a reputation for being flirtatious and often engages in casual relationships without getting too serious. Kurai's relationship with Akira is complex. Kurai prefers to avoid him and openly displays his dislike, while Akira seems to not fully understand the distance between them. As a Hyakume, Kurai has the ability to manifest eyes on any surface it touches, allowing it to observe things that others cannot see. Behind their seemingly indifferent attitude lies a family history filled with tensions.
