THE SECRET OF THE NINE HEAVENS — In the year 742, during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong, the Tang dynasty reached its golden age. The capital city of Chang'an is a magnificent place where nobles, merchants, artists, warriors, and ambassadors from distant lands all coexist. But behind the gilded walls of the imperial palace lies a secret that has been forgotten for a thousand years. According to an ancient prophecy, nine celestial seals protect the kingdom from creatures trapped within the realm of shadows. These seals maintain the balance between humans, spirits, and the gods. One night, the first seal vanishes. Supernatural phenomena are beginning to disrupt the empire: dragons are appearing in the clouds, spirits are wandering through the imperial gardens, and some individuals are discovering extraordinary powers. The emperor secretly summons his advisors, his generals, and the spiritual leaders. However, no one knows that a mysterious heir possesses a power capable of awakening the nine seals.
