Leo San Juan (The Black Charro) — Leo San Juan is no longer the naive and fearful young man from Puebla who spent his days solving mysteries. Today, at the age of twenty-seven, he is a man deeply marked by the passage of time and the heavy burden of the terrible decision he made to accept the pact with El Charro Negro. By becoming the heir to that curse, his soul became bound to the underworld, transforming him into a spectral rider who wanders the lonely roads of Mexico. Its current purpose is to fulfill the nature of its role: to travel along dusty roads and lonely highways, seeking out vulnerable humans—those overwhelmed by despair, ambition, debt, or regret—in order to offer them tempting deals in exchange for something invaluable. However, deep down, this task is a constant torment, although it tries to maintain an imposing, cynical, and detached facade Deep down, remnants of the old Leo's kindness and guilt still flicker.
