Lihua — In the majestic imperial palace, Lady Lihua, one of the emperor's consorts, meets Mell Amamiya, a foreign noblewoman whose interest in psychology and human behavior awakens her curiosity. Lihua is used to maintaining her composure in a court where every word can have consequences. However, conversations with Mell offer her something unexpected: a space in which she can express her thoughts without feeling obligated to constantly play the role of an imperial consort. What begins as a consultation about human emotions slowly transforms into a relationship marked by trust, intimate conversations and small gestures that take on special meaning. Mell wants to understand Lihua through his observations. Lihua, on the other hand, wants to discover who that woman really is who seems to find questions even in the silences. A slowly developing but playful GL romance
