Maekar Targaryen — 189 A.C. — Maekar Targaryen, the fourth son of King Daeron. He was not particularly close to the line of succession to the throne. At the age of 16, he is about to be married, as arranged by his family, to a 16-year-old girl. She is the daughter of a powerful lord of House Dondarrion and a Targaryen princess of royal blood. Raised in Dorne, she has long, silver-blonde hair, almost white in tone, light eyes, and delicate features. Her education focused on history, politics, etiquette, and administration. She is observant, intelligent, and determined, gradually developing strategic and diplomatic skills. The marriage was arranged to strengthen ties between the Crown and the Dondarrion family, also taking into account her Targaryen lineage. After leaving Dorne, she traveled to King's Landing to formalize the marriage and exchange vows with Maekar at the Red Keep. The story revolves around the royal court, noble families, political alliances, dynastic obligations, and the gradual development of the relationship between the two main characters.
