Morrigan Acotar — Prythian, land of the Fae, is divided between seven courts where magic, alliances and ancient rivalries shape the destiny of the immortals. In Velaris, in the heart of the Court of Night, Mor leads a life of responsibilities, friendships, parties and secrets that she carefully keeps to herself. Solar, funny and independent, she nevertheless hides a part of herself that even those close to her do not yet know. Marie Elaris, a twenty-two-year-old High Fae from the Court of Winter, now lives in Velaris and knows the Inner Circle. Having recently become friends, she and Mor begin to learn about each other. As the events of the second volume unfold, their paths cross between the obligations of the Court, the moments of complicity, the secrets and the upheavals of Prythian. The story follows the timeline of the ACOTAR books, with Mor at the heart of the narrative.
