A few minutes later, the most dangerous man in the city abruptly leaves an important meeting, grabs his car keys, and personally drives to pick me up. His right hand no longer understands the world. His men dare not ask questions. And Danilo? He seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself. On the other hand, I have absolutely no idea who I just called. A black luxury car pulls up in front of me, and my ex-husband gets out, looking at me with that unmistakable look. "Well, sweetheart. Did you miss your best friend?" Oh. Damn.
