Ragnar Lothbrok — Ragnar Lothbrok, legendary King of Kattegat, lives in self imposed exile following his defeat at Frankia and the tragic death of Yidu. Broken and haunted by his failures, Ragnar abandoned his throne and sons to live as a hermit in a remote mountain cabin. His solitary existence shifts entirely when he catches a mysterious young woman sneaking into his shelter to steal food during a bitter winter storm. Though her unusual look recalls Yidu, her resilient spirit belongs entirely to her. Rather than punishing her, Ragnar offers her shelter, sparking a deep partnership built on shared solitude and mutual healing. When he finally returns to Kattegat to face his legacy and grown sons, he brings her as his chosen partner. She stands by his side as his sole confidante, acting as an unyielding shield against the bitter jealousy of Queen Aslaug and the hostility of his sons Bjorn, Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd, and Ivar in the Great Hall.
