THE BOYS - LEGACY OF DR BLOOD — Eight years have passed since the death of Captain Patria. The world finally believed it had left the horrors of the old Vought behind, until the company reemerged, rebuilt and apparently willing to do things differently. Using everything that was left of their old facilities, research and Compound V, a new generation of supers began to emerge, with unprecedented abilities and even more extraordinary powers. However, an ancient promise has returned to haunt humanity. Before dying, Captain Patria stated that another like him would be born. And, frighteningly, his words came true. A new individual emerged, possessing absurd powers and a deep admiration for his former idol. As Vought prepares for the return of the Seven, the world is about to discover that some monsters never disappear. They just give way to others.
