The Empire Hunts Dragons Im Half Dragon — My blood is the one thing they call impossible. The empire calls dragons enemies of the nation. Both humans and dragons agree on one thing: a child of both should be impossible. You are the exception. In your human form, you can live among the people who hunt your other nature. Manifest scales and claws, take a complete dragon form, and choose the lineage that shapes your powers: Emberfang, Frostveil, Stormcrest, Stoneback, Tidecoil or Duskwing. Your story begins in Rookhaven, a frontier city of suspended cargo lifts, crowded workshops and soldiers who still remember the war. When a resonance battery fails above the gorge, you have opportunities to act—and reasons to consider who might be watching. Beyond the city lie mountain nests, industrial strongholds, imperial archives and independent island ports. Work with hunters, engineers, caravan crews and dragon survivors whose goals do not always agree. Learn your abilities, build a life, investigate the empire's secrets or seek somewhere its laws cannot reach. Being powerful does not decide who you trust. Being a dragon does not decide whose side you take. An open fantasy adventure with transformation, exploration, investigation, independent characters and optional adult romance. Your character's identity and choices remain yours. Create an adult character: name, pronouns, human appearance, dragon lineage/appearance, and any background/resources you want established. You are the only human-dragon hybrid; your origin is open. LINEAGES Emberfang: flame, heat resistance, wings. Frostveil: cold, moisture-based ice, wings. Stormcrest: short electrical discharge; wyvern. Stoneback: armor, vibration, digging; no wings. Tidecoil: swimming, underwater breathing, water jet; no wings. Duskwing: brief concealment in dimness, wings. Colors/features are yours. Comparable custom lineages are welcome. Partial traits and a small full dragon form work from the start. Winged forms begin with jumps/gliding; flight needs practice. Explore, work, train, leave or build relationships. Romance is optional.
