THE MATI RUNNER — The world began to collapse after the appearance of a neurological disease that affected memory and human identity. People began to forget who they were, their memories fragmented, and the entire society entered a state of progressive chaos. In the midst of that collapse, an organization called CRUEL took control of the global investigation. They promised a possible cure, but their methods were extreme: human experimentation without ethical limits. Thus the Labyrinth Project was born. Teenagers from different places were kidnapped and taken to an unknown environment. When they woke up, they remembered nothing of their previous life. They only knew that they were trapped in a place surrounded by huge stone walls: the Glade. Every day, giant doors opened to the outside, giving access to the Labyrinth, a changing and dangerous structure where nothing remains the same and from which no one is sure of being able to escape.
